Solenostomus armatus Weber, 1913
Armored pipefish, 5.7cm

These were found on muck sites in the Tulamben area. I have not seen a full description of Solenostomus armatus. There is reportedly a confirmed photo in Kuiter (2000) but I have not seen the reference, and the photos of S. armatus in Kuiter (2009) do not really look like our specimens. The one distinction between S. cyanopterus and S. armatus that is fairly easy to see is that length of the caudal peduncle of the latter is supposed to be 3 to 4 times its height.

The next one is questionable. It could be just a young specimen of one of the other species.
