We have seen these mostly on night dives at various sites around Tulamben. The number and construction of dorsolateral processes seem closest to Bornella herrmanni, but it is a bit larger and more robust, as well as darker and more distinctly reticulated than specimens of B. herrmanni we see in the Marshall Islands. It is possible that more then one species are presented below.
