Acanthosepion pharaonis (Ehrenberg,
1831)
Pharaoh cuttlefish
These Acanthosepion species
are tentatively identified as A. pharaonis based on identifications
in iNaturalist.
Like many cuttlefish, this species can change color and texture very quickly,
and it is possible that multiple species are figured below. Ours were found
at muck sites around Tulamben, Amed, Puri Jati and Gilimanuk.
